As the year 2020 came to a close, the performance of dinosaur-themed games on the iOS platform in Latin America showed interesting trends. Data compiled by Sensor Tower provides us a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users of the top 5 games in this category.

Steve | Widget Dinosaur Game by Calm Sea Enterprise, S.L. experienced a decrease in both downloads, from 30K in late September to around 11K by the end of December, and weekly active users, dropping from 54K to 18K in the same period.

ARK: Survival Evolved, developed by Studio Wildcard, saw a relatively stable download count, hovering around 3K per week, with a spike to over 4K in the last two weeks of December. Weekly active users declined slightly from 18K to 18K over the quarter.

Jam City, Inc.'s Jurassic World™: The Game showed an impressive increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, rising from $3K in late September to over $6K in the final week of December. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 4K in mid-December, while weekly active users saw a growth from 14K to 14K in Q4.

Geisha Tokyo Inc.’s Dinosaur Rampage's revenue remained low throughout the quarter, with a minor increase to $3 by December's end. The game’s downloads and weekly active users saw a notable drop, from 3K downloads and 13K active users in late September to just under 2.5K downloads and around 13K active users by the year's end.

Lastly, Jurassic World Alive, also from Jam City, Inc., ended the quarter with a mixed performance. Revenue peaked at $8K in the week leading to Christmas, while download numbers remained below 2K for most of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a slight downward trend, from 9K in late September to just over 6K in late December.
